Acceptance rate or percentage?

Hi, friends, hope you are doing well. I just wanted to ask you what is your acceptance rate or percentage on adobe stock as a contributor? I want to hear from both photographers and AI contributors. I submit AI art, and mine is about 80%. Is that good or bad? What's yours?

80% is a good ratio. My acceptance rate for standard assets is near to 100%. It's only when experimenting that I get more rejections than usual, mostly then on the commercial appeal or non-compliant image.

A rejection rate of 50% is still good, if you are a.beginner, you could even live with your first 10 assets to be rejected, if you will get lessons learned from those rejections.

Most people are throwing in anything just to see what happens. When I started, I selected my best shots first, giving me a good acceptance rate. Only then I experienced some setbacks because I started with more critical assets, like counter light photography.

I do a lot of experiments both Vector and AI (More AI recently), but I always focus on technical quality at the very least. My rate so far is 95%. Most my rejections honestly I feel like they come from nit picking of mods. Before I upload a tripple check them all. But, I don't mind. It's all within expectations. If I strongly feel an image was rejected unfairly I give it another shot another day.

Your success as a Stock Contributor is measured in sales, not acceptance rates.  If all your sales are coming from just 20% of your portfolio, you may need to re-think what you're submitting.  Pay attention to trends.

Maximize your long term earning potential with greater focus on quality instead of quantity.  A single asset that receives multiple downloads is more valuable to you than 5 assets that never sell.

As always, use appropriate titles & keywords so customers can find what they're searching for.

Hope that helps.

"A single asset that receives multiple downloads is more valuable to you than 5 assets that never sell." Right Nancy - but in this game I think that today quantity is a huge asset ..? Unfortunately. But I'm sure a relatively small but good port still can generate lots of sales like in the 'good old days'. Fortunately ...

I go back and forth between a 94% and 95% acceptance rate. I submit 100% AI. I'm actually going through my rejections now to determine which ones can be saved with further editing or by correcting flaws I may have overlooked. On the re-submissions, I've had a 100% acceptance rate. So far. 😉

Wow. That's amazing. Did you have any prior knowledge or experience in stock photography, or was AI your first touch with contributing images?

My current acceptance rate for photographs is ~95%, though my initial rate when I started submitting 7 years ago wasn't so high. It took a while to learn to recognize the rejectable issues and understand the IP restrictions.

I understand, I started just recently, so I'm a beginner too. I hope I'll get closer to your percentage with time. Thanks for your answer!

When you're not a skilled pro AI-image creator I would say it's really outstanding ...! How many have you had under review?

I have about 340 images accepted and 85 rejected. So that's about 80%. And I have 400 more images in review, and uploading about 30-50 new a day. PS: Thanks for kind words 😄 I'll try to get better with time, I started uploading daily just a few weeks ago so I guess I am in fact a beginner. Thanks again!!

You're welcome.

Just checked. My first refusal (according to Adobe) 7 years ago was an IP violation. 🤔 🤔
