Account Blocked for Irregular Sales Activities

Hi

 

I got this mail in response of my email - Since your account has appeared in the context of highly irregular sales activities, the account will remain blocked until further notice.

 

This Problem Happened After Money Withdrawal Request.

 

I'm Contributor from past 8 Years with 15000+ Images and 1000+ Videos. But suddenly Blocked my account with Irregular sales activities. But on same day I got huge sales on my Other stock site also. I didn't think those are Irregular sales?. Can anyone share your experience. Have your account unblocked after this type of Incident?

Did you use the link on the blocking screen? Contacting contributor support via this form provides important context, if you contacted support via a different manner, it may well be, that the context can't be established.

 

As a side note: In your other post, you claimed that contributor support did not respond at all.


Finally my account unlocked and they replied 

 

Your account was temporarily blocked after noticing suspicious activities and irregular sales. This doesn't mean that you had anything to do with it, but luckily we were able to track them down. 

 

Since some of the credits you currently have on the account correspond to those irregular sales, we had to remove them. As a result, a total of 727 credits were deducted from your account balance.

 

Your account is now active again, and you may continue using it just as normal. We will continue looking into this and monitoring the account, and if anything we will let you know.

 

 

No further actions are required on your end.

I observed that patience is more Important. If your account blocked explain to them about the problem in brief and wait.

We have had reports here of accounts being unblocked after Adobe completes their investigation, though we have no way of knowing what percentage of accounts are restored,

Hi @SmartBaje ,

Are you saying, for the first time in 8 years you just wake up one morning and notice big money in your account and plenty files download? Did you look to see what files they were and how much you earned on each file download? 

It seem it's a standard that accounts are audited at request before payout, hence that is when  Adobe finds discrepancies.

The sudden sale spike seem to be a common phenomenon. Some contributors get their earnings, others blocked account. I do not have access to anyone's account, hence cannot say for sure what's the difference. I cannot say if anyone with account blockage after a sale spike gets their account unblocked. I suggest you wait and provide any details you know.

Hi @jacquelingphoto2017 ,

 

I got sales (each Footage file 2.80$ nearly 250 files) on 26th August 2023 in Adobe and Shutterstock. I have waited for 1 week and requested a payout. On Sep 7th they blocked my account for Irrgular sales activity.

 

Previously i got huge sales (100 files for 0.66$) in Adobe only, but I never faced like this situation. So I'm waiting for their reply.

I would wait before making new contact. You received a response from your first contact and you were told that your account will remain closed until further notice. You were not asked to explain what might of happened.

Accounts can be unblocked after an initial investigation.

 

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.
