Account Blocked On Sept 8 - Generative Ai Policy

Hello Adobe Team,

My Adobe Stock Contributor account was blocked on September 8th. I received an email stating it was due to Generative AI policy violations.

I regularly upload AI-generated content and always try my best to follow Adobe's guidelines. If I made a mistake regarding similar content submissions, labeling, or releases, it was completely unintentional. I apologize for the oversight.

I sent an appeal via email on September 8th but haven't received a response yet. Could a moderator please check my account status? I am willing to correct any mistakes and strictly follow all AI guidelines moving forward.

Thank you for your time and help.

NOTE: The user guide was updated this summer and some things have changed.

Carefully read through the entire section on Gen AI submission requirements. Also read the applicable sub-sections on IP, vectors, video, photography, etc.

    Three key factors:

    1. Check your AI service’s TERMS to ensure you own the content and it’s available for commercial use & resale. That’s critically important. Most free plans allow for personal use only. Commercial users will invariably need paid plans to protect their content from public access.
    2. Do not use protected names (real or fictional) in prompts, titles or metadata.
    3. Do not use AI to depict actual landmarks (Eiffel Tower) or newsworthy events (French riots).

    Hope that helps.

    • One user reported that it took 50 days to receive a favorable outcome to their appeal request for “suspicious account activity.”
    • Each request is handled on a case-by-case basis. It could take several weeks or months, depending on Contributor Support’s case load.
    • Do not submit another request for updates. It only slows things down and generates more open case numbers..
    • In the meantime, work on other projects & submit to outside services.

    Good luck.

Adobe does not participate in this forum. If you have not yet done so, file an appeal now to obtain a case number. In the meantime, your only option is to wait until Adobe completes their investigation, which, unfortunately, can take weeks or even months.
