Account blocked: Suspicious activity in 2025

Hey everyone,
Does anyone know how long Adobe usually takes in 2025 to resolve account blocks due to "suspicious activity"?

My account was deactivated on March 27, and I already submitted an appeal (case number 00358050), but till now (April 20), I haven’t received any proper update.

I’ve uploaded around 1500 AI-generated assets, out of which about 1000 were accepted, and I had around $100 in my account at the time of the block. It’s the result of almost 2 years of hard work using my own PC, writing prompts, improving outputs, and reworking assets until satisfied.

I truly believe I haven’t done anything wrong knowingly. I followed all the rules, and just recently, I had started getting good sales after working hard for so long. I believe they will return the account eventually, but honestly—how long does this usually take?

Got my account back but:

I’m really disappointed that my account was blocked without any proper explanation. Even worse, some of my earnings were also deducted... and I still don’t know what I did wrong. I’ve always followed the rules and uploaded original content, yet no clear reason has been given till now. If there was any suspicious activity, I honestly don’t know about it. How can I protect myself from this in the future if I don’t even know the reason my account was blocked?

You have proper explanation: irregular sales. And that were the earnings that were deducted. There is no issue with your uploads.

Adobe decided that, after an initial investigation, that there is at least doubt that you were involved in this suspicious sales scheme. That's the reason why they reinstated your account.

And the reason for the blocking is clearly stated: SUSPICIOUS SALES.

Perhaps it means that your account has not been permanently blocked.

They added a line in the email saying, "We appreciate your contribution and look forward to seeing your future contributions."
I think this means my account is under review and may be resolved soon.
Also, I believe the submission limit update has been applied to my account—maybe?

If your account has been suspended, there is nothing that this community of peers can do for you. You will need to contact Adobe contributor support via the link at “Contact us”. Adobe will answer via e-mail, so watch your spam folder. The answer may take some time, depending on the workload of contributor support and the complexity of the investigation. So be patient and do not spam the contributor support.

We have no way of knowing how long it takes to start a review, reach a decission, or to reinstate an account. Adobe is under no obligation to communicate with the contributor or to reinstate an account. Unfortunately, contributors that get their accounts back, rarely inform us.

Thank you for your response. I really appreciate it. If I receive any update or get my account back, I’ll definitely share my experience here so it can help others too.

If anyone else has recently faced a similar situation in 2025, it would be great if you could share what happened in your case—it might give the rest of us a better idea of what to expect.

The forum is full of such threads. Some accounts get reactivated, most stay closed. Adobe needs a very long time to reach a decision on that. Half a year+
