Account de-activated

I received a notification that my account has been deactivated.  What’s infuriating is that I have absolutely no idea what was wrong. I haven’t uploaded any new content in over six months, and my only activity was completing AI missions that were all approved. To make matters worse, I had over $700 in earnings, which are now gone.

All the mission content had the required releases, even though the faces in the images weren’t visible. This deactivation feels completely unjustified, especially since I’ve been contributing for nine years and have always followed the rules. The timing of this couldn’t be worse — we were counting on that money, and there were expenses we needed to cover for creating the content that was accepted.

I’ve already sent an email, filed an appeal, and done everything in my power, but the lack of transparency and fairness here is incredibly frustrating. Could someone please provide an explanation or resolution?

Adobe likely detected suspicious account activity.
1) Unusual sales or refunds.
2) Unauthorized use of protected Brand Names including titles, keywords or descriptions.
3) Content spamming. Using multiple accounts to artificially boost sales or bypass submission limits.
4) Complaints / 'Take Down Notices' from customers or 3rd parties.
5) Violation of Stock Contributor Terms. See below.

Be patient. It may take several weeks for an investigation to conclude. Check your email spam folder. If requested, provide additional information directly to Adobe Stock. Work on other projects. Submit content to other stock services.

Good luck.

Thank you for replying, Nancy. I understand the general stance, but I still find it very unprofessional on Adobe’s part—especially when you’ve been a contributor for more than 9 years. Withholding earnings and not providing any clear explanation feels very unfair. Contributors deserve transparency, particularly in situations like this.

They have the right to act as they see fit, I too am in the same situation. Without warning they block the account. And also the earnings? Keep in mind that however we have never had the guarantee that the actual sales will be credited to us.

It might be related to this? From Adobe:

"We have introduced new technology to help evaluate new submissions and audit the existing collection against our new policies. This expanded auditing has resulted in the reclassification and removal of over 100K assets."

I think you might be right about long-standing accounts losing assets, or even being suspended for investigation.

Sorry to hear that your account has been suspended. The only option you have is to use the link shown on your screen to contact Adobe. Then wait for their reply.

Thank you for your reply, Ralph. It’s just frustrating to go through this situation and then have to wait weeks for an answer. I appreciate your advice, though, and I’ll keep trying to resolve it through the proper channels.
