Account deactivated for "suspicious activity" after 5 years / Seeking advice from fellow contributors

Hello everyone,

I am looking for some advice or insights from fellow Adobe Stock contributors who might have gone through a similar situation recently.

I have been a dedicated Adobe Stock contributor since 2021, with a portfolio of over 7,000 assets (mostly stock photos). On Friday, August 7, 2026, at 9:07 AM (Algeria local time), I received an email stating that my account was suddenly deactivated due to "suspicious activity."

To give some context:

  • I haven't uploaded any new assets for weeks. My only recent activity was logging in occasionally to check earnings and refine some titles and keywords.

  • I had around $205 USD accumulated in my balance and was expecting a payment payout soon.

  • I have lost complete access to my portfolio, sales history, and earnings dashboard.

I am completely lost as to what "suspicious activity" refers to. I have never purchased my own assets, never asked anyone to download my work, and have never engaged in any activity aimed at manipulating sales or downloads.

I have already submitted an appeal to Adobe Contributor Relations and received a case number, but I haven't received a specific explanation yet.

I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who experienced a similar issue:

  1. Did Adobe eventually explain the exact reason behind the deactivation?

  2. Were you able to recover your account, portfolio, and earnings?

Adobe Stock has been a crucial source of income for me for years, and I have worked hard on building this portfolio since 2021. I truly hope this is just an automated error that can be cleared up upon review.

Any advice or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time!

Duplicate post………….

When Adobe Stock deactivates a contributor account for "suspicious activity," it usually stems from automated security flags, legal compliance checks, or policy enforcement. Because Adobe protects both buyers and creators from fraud, accounts are often suspended preemptively while an internal audit takes place.
This can be anything that violates the agreement terms or attempts to boost your sales. It is often based on internal manual and automated audits.
Other than making an appeal, which you have done, there is nothing else you can do. The review may take several months to complete.

post this in the stock contributor forum, https://community.adobe.com/stock-contributors-36

and change your title slightly to avoid a duplicate post error.
