Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, my Adobe Stock account has been disabled due to intellectual property rights violations on 2 of my works. My account with 500 vector stocks cannot be opened. These two images were a collage I created years ago by cutting out free animal images and putting them side by side.

I understand that the 2 jpeg images were removed because they were inappropriate. However, I am incredibly upset that my account has been disabled. I don't know what to do and wanted to ask you.

It says my account has been disabled. Is my account now permanently deleted or is it currently under review? Because I want to put hundreds of my other excellent works back up for sale.

Here is Adobestock's response to my appeal:

Adobe received a take-down report regarding your work(s) and we have already informed you separately about the files in question.

When we receive a plausible take down report, it is Adobe´s policy to take down the reported content. If you believe the person who filed the report against you is mistaken, please file a counter notice or appeal using this..

You're right. I only remember nights working until sunrise 🙂 And even though it was free, I should have guessed the animal images I used. I must have made a really terrible mistake.

I think I need to open a new account so I can sell my Adobe stock again. If you have any tips or advice on this, I'd love to hear it.

Adobe at least offered you the opportunity to appeal, so you may wish to do so. But yes, Adobe is very strict with regard to IP violations, so the outcome may not be what you want to hear.

As of my understanding, they offered to make a counter claim. OP can't do that as they used "free" assets to create a collage.

IP violations, in which you submit work that was not your own, can result in permanent suspension. Adobe has no tolerance for such behavior.

This was actually a collage I made as a test when I first started selling stocks. It was definitely a file I worked on a lot. I even sent the layered psd file to the Adobe Stock team with wetransfer. The sad part is that it is the only jpeg work in my account.

But I don't think the result will be as I wanted.

There is a warning that the account is disabled. I have two questions because I want to learn from your experiences;

1- Does this mean that my stock account is permanently closed?

2- Because if it is permanently closed, I am thinking of opening a new account to re-upload my other vector works. I am waiting for your comments on this subject.

My information is that there is zero tolerance for IP violations. Adobe won't search the rest of your portfolio for additional violations. They simply will take down the account.
