Account suspended for "Generative AI" Without Ever Using AI – 8 Months, Still No Explanation
Is this really Adobe Stock's standard for treating contributors?
My Adobe Stock contributor account was suspended for an alleged Generative AI violation, except I've never uploaded Generative AI content. Everything I submitted was created manually in After Effects and Illustrator, and I still have all the original project files.
It's now been 7–8 months. I've submitted multiple appeals, received multiple case numbers, and all I've gotten are generic responses and another appeal form.
No one has told me:
- Which asset violated the policy.
- Which specific rule was broken.
- Why my account was permanently suspended.
I'm not asking for special treatment. I'm simply asking for a transparent explanation.
Is this really the standard experience for contributors? Is it acceptable that someone who genuinely believes they submitted original work can wait 8 months without receiving a single meaningful response explaining what actually happened?
Has anyone here managed to get a real response from Adobe Contributor Relations? I'd really appreciate any advice.
