Account temporarily blocked - Generative Ai content that is not within our guidelines

Hello Community!

My contributor ID from portfolio link: 207682249 (TRAVELARIUM)
Yesterday I received an email that my Adobe Stock account has been temporarily blocked.

In this email there are many possible reasons that could have caused the blocking of my account:

  • - The Generative Ai box “Created using generative AI tools” was not checked or selected during the submission of these files.
  • - The content was not correctly tagged or labeled (Keywords and Title).
  • - Submitting portrait images created with Ai that are based on real/famous people, characters from popular culture, and/or other existing subjects such as video games.
  • - There are no releases attached to the portrait images of people generated with Ai.
  • - If you upload content that depicts people based on non-existent people, you must upload a property release.
  • - If the people depicted are based on real people, a model release is required.
  • - The technical and aesthetic standards of our collection also apply to content generated with AI. Do not submit content that shows clearly deformed objects.
  • - The technical and aesthetic standards of our collection also apply to content generated with AI. Do not submit content that shows clearly deformed objects, bodies, or text.
  • - There should be no watermarks.

The specific reason, which files are the problem, is not specified in email.

I hope it is a temporary blocking or some kind of error, because old Adobe contributor (about 20k photos and several thousand AI-illustrations) and I live for this. Maybe I did make a mistake in something when submit new AI-files or something else from Generative AI guidline.

I deeply apologize for inattention and the possible problem I caused, if any.

First thing I did was immediately - wrote to Contributor Support (contributor-support@adobe.com) to be told the details and what caused the blocking. But I didn't get any automatic response, that the email was delivered and an ticket number was registered, as is usually does.

In Discord channel other contributors who have also had their accounts blocked wrote that they don't get any response from Adobe Contributor Case team for a month or more, so I'm very worried and so writing here, and hopefully my account situation will be resolved soon.

I would be very grateful if Adobe could be more specific about my mistake so that I don't do this in the future. I am a conscientious photographer and a bit of AI-illustrator (as many contributors are now, as it's addictive and very interesting), and I am always happy to collaborate with you and learn from my mistakes.

I am very concerned and ask you to please review my case as soon as possible.

You must respond to the link on the page that shows that your account has been blocked. Adobe will not respond here, or anywhere publicly, to account status questions. You will eventually get a response, but it will take time. Do not badger them with multiple emails, which clogs their system and could make response even slower. Meanwhile, you could review all of your AI submissions to determine which ones have issues and delete those.

Hello
Have you already had your account unblocked?

Hi. Yes, my account has been unlocked yesterday YAY! And I can work again, because this is my full time job.

Looks like I accidentally attached the property release for AI illustrations to real photos (misclicking) + I need to clean up my portfolio of low-quality AI illustrations, which is what I'm doing now.
I'll try to be careful in the future.

Excellent, I congratulate you.
You gave me hope because today you blocked my account for the same reason.

How long have you been blocked?
And did sales decrease after unlocking?

If you wrote to contributor support, there is nothing left for you to do. You can only wait and hope the issue gets resolved.
