Account validation status take down report

I received a takedown report on one of my files through email. I don't know who made the report. I have created all the files myself and created my portfolio with great effort. When I woke up this morning, I saw that my account is on validation status. After that, I have become very worried. I don't understand who made the report and who has the right to make a report. Did any customer make a report? Or by a contributor and my payout was pending and available earning was also there. I don't understand anything. What should I do? Please help me.

@Husnain31191410oibu,

There is a procedure for sussing out false DMCA infringement notices.  See below about Counter Notices and Objections.  Read it carefully and follow instructions to the letter.

https://www.adobe.com/legal/dmca.html

"If you believe someone filed an improper DMCA infringement notice against you, you can can appeal it using Adobe's  online form."

Hope that helps. Good luck.

The validation issue and the take-down notice are probably related, except if you did not expose all the facts here (you do not need to do so, btw). I would fight the take-down notice, even during the waiting time for a response from Adobe Contributor Support.

You must answer the takedown notice. If you believe the asset(s) in question are truly your own creations, you will have to provide proof to Adobe. The takedown request could have been initiated by a Buyer, another Contributor, or another person who is not an Adobe Contributor but believes that the assets in question are actually their IP. Adobe probably won't tell you who made the claim.

I don't know what procedures Adobe follows once they've received a complaint, but here's the process of filing a complaint:

I suspect you were give a Contact Us link when you received the notice. All you can do at this point is to contact Adobe and wait for a response. It may take some time.
