ADB-46534604-H1Y9 - False Positive Account Deactivation

My contributor account was automatically deactivated yesterday right after I updated titles and keywords to clear up "Data Issues" on roughly 70 files that had been sitting there for quite some time.

All assets in my portfolio are 100% my own original work.

Portfolio had just started getting traction and making good money.

And now this road block.

I have already replied to the email ticket with full context. Could a staff member please escalate Ticket ADB-46534604-H1Y9 to the Compliance team for a manual review?

Thank you,

Mike

Adobe doesn’t monitor this web forum. Fellow users here are powerless to escalate anything. You’ll have to ride this out for however long the investigation takes. I hope it has a happy ending.

    Good luck.

At this point it seems like its all i can really do. De-activated for suspicious activity because I was clearing out old files in the review that had been there for years seems a bit harsh, considering I did each one individually as batch edits are not possible.  I’ve been constantly growing my earnings month over month due to hard work, and a set back like this is beyond frustrating. I am glad that ADOBE does the work to keep corruption and scamming down, but putting contributors in a tricky position like this for extended periods of time is tough. I could understand if I had a smaller, newer account, but Ive put up nearly 18,000 assets and counting over the past 5 years and have plans for much more. As I am sure you know, the amount of time that has gone into this has been staggering and facing the possibility of loosing this work is unthinkable. This has been a bit of a gut punch to say the least, I really hope someone can resolve this for me as soon as possible.

Thanks for your kind words of support

    Mike

Sorry to hear you are going through this Mike. I just took a look at the thread Yamato shared and read that using other contributors titles or keywords was considered a violation. Last year I did a little of that, looking for relevance of my own keywords. Is that what you did with the 70 assets you revised?

I had never really looked at my needs review section, but then noticed that there were a bunch that said Data Issue. So I fixed about 70 titles, individually and hit re submit. Some of the files had been there for 3 years.

That’s the only thing I did differently, so I assume its that what got me flagged. Its a bit stressing seeing how I have recently been able to get my weekly downloads consistently into the top 7,000 or higher as video sales really started taking off for me.

I really hope this is resolved as soon as possible.

    Im sure it totally sucks.

Going by what I have read from other conversations here, this is a matter of months (2) not weeks.
My advice is that you trust the process and don’t stop creating new work, also use the time to improve the organization of existing assets if necessary. Another good option is to start contributing with Getty if you’re not already. But my strongest advice is that you wait it out, and don’t get out of Adobe Stock, be patient and trust the process.

    Best of luck !
