Question

Adobe, aren't you ashamed?

This is just shameful. A large, respected and rich company like Adobe can't solve the issue of dealing with locked accounts. This is the third time I've been blocked for allegedly irregular sales. Someone buys $100 worth of images from me and I get blocked immediately. Then for months I wait for some kind of response. Then they write to me that I may not be at fault and unblock me. And the same 100$ they do not return to me. Without any explanation and proof. At the same time my rating goes down and I start selling again almost from zero. I understand, the moderators have a lot of work, well dial more moderators. They will work their money off. Instead of people sitting in a ban for months, their pictures could work. A lawyer I know is already beating his hoof and urging me to sue. This is the third time Adobe has banned me for no reason and taken 250$ from me.

Adobe Stock will temporarily suspend or permanently terminate a Stock Contributor account for any of the following:
1) Suspicious sales or refund activity,
2) Receipt of an official infringement complaint or "take down" notice from a 3rd party,
3) Suspected violation of Stock Contributor User Terms.

These are the TERMS you agreed to when you joined the Stock Contributor program.

The sales have been deducted from your account because the Buyer used a fraudulent scheme to license your images, perhaps a stolen credit card. If Adobe didn't get paid for the sales, nor does the Contributor. It doesn't make sense for you to benefit from the fraudulent sales if Adobe earned no income from them. Adobe concluded you that you were not involved in the fraud; otherwise they would not have reactivated your account. This rarely happened before Adobe started accepting Gen AI assets, which, sadly, has opened the floodgates of scammers and fraudsters who come here to make a quick $ any way they can.

Okay, but what does this have to do with me? Found out and unblocked. Why do I have to wait a month or two for them to unblock me? I live in Ukraine, I try to survive by any means. And making money on Adobe helps me and my cats survive)) But instead of earning money, I write letters for a month in the expectation that someone will pay attention to me.

It seems that the Adobe Stock Contributor Support Team are overwhelmed with the number of requests and blocked accounts that they are dealing with. It would be nice if they could implement a method of investigating accounts without having to block them entirely, but I don't know if that is their intention.

If this is bothering you, you should stop contributing. Check your contributor's agreement. Adobe can block you without giving a reason. If you get blocked for a reason, that reason is valid and can be proven. The lawyer,  you know, should consider that.

I am now a contributor for more than 7 years, and I have never been blocked, neither for this issue nor for violating other terms of my contributor contract.

The moderators are not involved at blocking your account.

Adobe may not care about its reputation and continue to look like an irresponsible company that does not follow the rules of business. I spent a year adding 7,000 pictures and you’re asking me to leave them all. Thank you. The lawyer is more interested in why $250 was taken from me. I understand that no one will be sued, but the very fact of such an attitude towards people who bring income to the company does not paint the company. I didn't break the rules, Adobe admitted it twice already. And this time, I'm sure it will be the same. I'm least interested in who exactly is doing the blocking, I'm interested in why it's all taking so long to be considered. This is a disease of the company and it needs to cure itself of this shame.

It's reputation is made by customers, not by contributors.
