Question

Adobe has not responded to my uploaded images for some time

Hi guys, I wonder what the reason is that in the past my AI images were reviewed and approved (sometimes not) almost within a day, but at least they responded. Now since January my pictures are waiting for some kind of response. What could have changed?

Stock receives thousands of submissions each week.  I don't know for sure, but I think they might be struggling with staff shortages. It's a widespread problem in many technical sectors.  And being a Stock Reviewer isn't everyone's cup of tea. It's a highly demanding job that requires an expert eye for details & quick decisions.

Just my 2 cents.

Hi @Z_I_B ,

We don't know exactly what causes the delay. Sometimes there is delay and other times there isn't. Just keep submitting and wait. Your files will be reviewed eventually.

Best wishes

It's obviously a complete coincidence, but yesterday I complained here that my uploaded pictures have not been viewed since January... A couple of hours later they did. I'm not even complaining that some of them were thrown out, which were sharp, sceney and there was no moral problem with them. But I've got used to this, so to speak, where the justification is "quality issues" and that's it.
I'm just wondering now that I have two pictures that I uploaded even earlier than January and they are still in "In review" status. The ones uploaded later were rejected, no reaction to these... Just wondering, has anyone else had this happen? Will they stay like this forever?

Many Contributors have reported that older images in their queues are ignored while newer images are reviewed. It seems that Adobe's process of "first-in/first-out" has been abandoned. Some images do seem to have fallen into a "black hole" and can wait for a very long time - I have some that have waited for more than 9 months. It has been suggested here numerous times that you can delete and resubmit those, but I have mixed success with that approach.

Adobe Moderators continue to add well over a million images to the database every day, but the backlog never seems to diminish...

You are not alone, and we don't know what changed. But many contributors are experiencing the same issues, AI and photography contributors alike.

Thank you for your replies. I just don't understand this silence. While my picture was sold today.

Reviews and sales are two different functions. Once your assets are finally reviewed and added to your account, they will remain available for licensing for as long as you have an Adobe Stock account. Waiting so long for reviews can be frustrating, but there's nothing we can do to hasten the process, so I just carry on editing and uploading saleable content knowing all will be reviewed eventually and added to my account.
