Adobe Stock blocks accounts of honest contributors, accuses them of fraud, and provides no evidence.

Case 00321577, 00320975, 00320974, 00324628

I appeal to all contributors who have the opportunity to publicly reveal the truth — to see how Adobe Stock accuses honest contributors (I have worked with this stock since Fotolia) of fraud and illegally blocks accounts, without providing any evidence that confirms the violation of the rules for working with the stock.

Stockers! I know that you, just like me, have worked hard for many years, persistently building up your portfolio. Are you really going to remain silent??? Just think about the absurdity of the situation: any stocker dreamed of having high sales, so that the number of downloads of content would grow. But now in a situation where someone buys hundreds of images from you, you are simply blocked! There are already dozens of authors like me. We do not receive any responses to letters after blocking. My letter of appeal has not been answered for a month. Contributors, do you understand that Adobe Stock is violating the contract? What copyrights? Why is the stock taking so long to consider the case, for what reason? Is this a widespread problem? Do you not have enough staff to resolve the issue? This situation is simply disgraceful. As soon as the abnormal sales began, I immediately wrote to you so that you could take control of the situation. And what did you do? You replied that everything was fine, that there was nothing to worry about if I did not commit fraudulent actions. So, I will repeat for the tenth time - I did not buy more than 450 photos from myself in a few days. You were supposed to track which of the buyers made such purchases. Do you have a system for analyzing buyers? But no. You just ran away. Diego Gomez, Michelle Haarhoff - where have you disappeared to??? Mat Hayward, simply replied that he went to another department and could not help in any way. I will repeat again: stockers! Today this affects a dozen people, you think that this will not affect you, but it will! Because the Adobe stock must be responsible for its actions! I did not make mass purchases, I did not contact third parties. I worked hard for 10 years. And you just voluntarily crossed out the results of my work. Adobe Stock, aren't you ashamed? Do you have a conscience???

Why do you think that waiting for a response for more than 30 days is normal? Do you know how many employees of the Adobe Stock are engaged in checking financial transactions for fraud in case of mass purchases? If you know, then this is one argument. And then it would be fair if you passed the information to authorized specialists so that they would finally tell who were those buyers because of whom I was blocked.

But if you do not know how many people work in the investigations and appeals department, but at the same time say that "waiting a month or more is normal "... this is a very strange position. It is simply amazing that there are such answers and advice. Seriously, have you been in such a situation? Were you accused of fraud, your portfolio blocked? Do you think that an author who has been working with the stock for 10 years should receive any attention? Why would an author who has worked with the Adobe Stock for so many years take a risk, knowing that the ban was for fraud? These are simple questions that you will not answer. What kind of community of authors is this when it does not unite and protect its interests???

The biggest help you can give is to spread the word as much as possible that Adobe Stock is blocking experienced authors, accusing them of fraud, delaying appeals, not responding to emails, and most importantly, not providing evidence. The contributor community needs to reach out to those who are tracking blockings, because this is nonsense: authors are panicking and afraid of a large number of downloads because they can simply be blocked! What is the point of working with Adobe Stock then? Listen, maybe there is a person passing by here who has contacts of departments dealing with blocking issues, well, write to them, let them know that their system is failing.

Adobe likely detected suspicious account activity.
1) Unusual sales or refunds.
2) Unauthorized use of protected Brand Names in keywords/descriptions.
3) Content spamming. Using multiple accounts to artificially boost sales or bypass submission limits.
4) Complaints / 'Take Down Notices' from customers or 3rd parties.
5) Violation of Stock Contributor Terms. See below.

Contact Stock Contributor Support: https://contributor.stock.adobe.com/contact
This matter is solely between you and Adobe Stock, not fellow Contributors in this user-to-user community.

Be patient. It may take several weeks for an investigation to conclude. Check your email spam folder. If requested, provide additional information directly to Adobe Stock. Work on other projects. Submit content to other stock services.

Good luck.

Unfortunately, given the number of cases the Contributor Support team is investigating at any one time, waiting a month or longer does not seem to be unusual. If your account has not yet been permanently suspended, and the appeal remains unresolved, there is still reason for hope.

As a member of the Contributor Community, as you are, I have no direct line to anyone internally who can expedite the review of your account. I have not taken "a position" on this topic. I have simply stated that, based on the many discussions in this forum over the last 4+ years that I have been active here, many Contributors have reported waiting a month or even several months to receive a resolution. Don't attack the messenger. I'm not going to answer each of your questions individually since you seem to have come here to pick a fight with someone, and I'm not going to be the target of your ire.

Sorry to hear about your account being deactivated.
Unfortunately, you are wrong about this being a violation of the terms of your contract.

https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/legal/servicetou/Adobe_Stock_Contributor_Agreement-en_US-20160721_1200.pdf

Read §9.1. Your account can be suspended without notification.  You will be notified if the account is terminated as a result of their investigation. Prior to it being closed you may make an appeal. Adobe is not required to respond to your appeal.
Your earnings are not available during a suspension and will be deleted if your account is terminated.

"Unfortunately, you are wrong about this being a violation of the terms of your contract."

Are you a contributor? Instead of thinking about the situation and supporting me and other authors, you say that I am wrong and that they have the right to block the account. Blocking is the final action. Blocking is the result. And before this event, there were mass downloads, in which I and other authors were accused! Do you understand that you are substituting concepts? Let me remind that in some countries there is still a "presumption of innocence".

The presumption of innocence is one of the fundamental principles of the judicial process. According to it, a person is considered innocent until his guilt in the crime committed is proven in the manner prescribed by law and established by a court verdict that has entered into legal force.

Are you for contributors to know that they are blocking authors who have not committed fraudulent actions??? And we need to talk about this on every corner! Or do you think that Adobe Stock can act without presenting evidence? How can I and other contributors prove our innocence? Do we see who made the bulk purchases? What do we know about the buyers? If they are scammers, why does Adobe Stock fight contributors and not buyers?

Can you personally publicly state on social networks about such a problem that the authors who have been working with Adobe Stock for ten years are being blocked and not being investigated??? Or is it too dangerous to tell the truth about what is really happening with the stock?

"You are wrong. They can do whatever they want with you." Or will you stand up for the truth on behalf of the contributors?
