Adobe Stock Category Advice

Can someone please tell me if I can upload mixed categories on Adobe Stock? For example, 2 health images, 2 food images, and 2 technology images? Or is it better to focus on only one category? Which approach is better for getting more sales and avoiding rejections?

I’m new to Adobe Stock, so I would really appreciate your advice and guidance. Thank you so much for your help! 🙏

Why are you always compelled or feel obligated to opined on everything posted? Including what you don’t seem to understand.

There’s plenty of examples of your rudeness and ego that seems to control you, WITH CONTRIBUTORS CALLING OUT YOUR BS.

Do me a huge favor Danielle, if you feel so strongly I’m spreading bullshit or disinformation then Report me, otherwise don’t comment on my comments, or send me private messages threading to report me.

I simply asked for your source and gave examples contrary to your assertion. That’s all.

I sincere apology Danielle, I was referring about Nancy, who too often is unable to control her comments and dig her heels deeper.

Keep in mind that if you’re planning to upload AI assets, it’s likely your work will get rejected, “as most of it is.”

    ===========

Rubbish!  All things being equal, GenAI content with good commercial value and high visual & technical quality has the same chance of acceptance as photos, vectors, motion graphics and video. Stock profits from sales, not rejections.

Categories alone are irrelevant. Buyers find content in web searches from the metadata you provide— keywords, titles & accurate descriptions.

Dear Nancy I’m wondering what is it that makes you believe it’s good decorum to call my comment rubbish, specially wearing the “expert” title.

And let me be clear, what I said it’s not a personal opinion, it’s fact. Whatever the causes are, two facts are clear, 1- Adobe Stock is focusing the marketing of Firefly to enterprise customers, 2- they are accepting less than 20% of AI assets submitted.

Here comes my opinion: I think they’ve realize they can make more money from businesses who subscribe to Firefly, where anyone can create anything, and will only get better!

Call that rubbish if you’d like!

“2- they are accepting less than 20% of AI assets”

And your source? I know I’m only one example, but even with similar content rejections, I’m maintaining a minimum of a 95% AI acceptance rate over the past few months for AI submissions. Granted, anecdotal evidence on other forums suggests the rejection rate for AI videos has been extremely high (quality issues), but I’ve seen few complaints from contributors submitting AI images.  One contributor, in fact, just had 180 AI assets accepted from a single batch of 180.

Hi Uzair, yes you can submit whatever you’d like. But it will have no bearing on rejections or what gets accepted. Keep in mind that if what you’re planning to upload is AI assets, it’s likely your work will get rejected, “as most of it is” I strongly recommend you find another platform if that’s what you plan to create.

    Best of luck!

yes you can mix categories and it has no effect on rejections. Having assets in different genres can mean that  you have better chances of making a sale.

Thank you for clarifying. That makes sense to me. I understand now that mixing categories does not itself affect acceptance or rejection, and having a variety of subjects and genres can actually give a contributor more opportunities to reach different buyers and make sales.

I really appreciate your advice and guidance.
