Adobe Stock Contributor Account Blocked — Appeal Submitted, No Confirmation or Substantive Response

Hello Adobe Stock Community,

My Adobe Stock Contributor account was blocked on September 25, 2026, for an alleged Terms Violation. However, the notification did not identify any specific asset or activity that caused the block.

The last time I submitted assets to Adobe Stock was in July 2026. Since then, I have not submitted any new assets because I wanted to improve my art style before submitting more work, and I have also been busy with real-life commitments. Therefore, I was surprised when I discovered that my account had been blocked in September, despite not having submitted anything new for approximately two months.

I submitted an appeal through the appeal form on September 25, 2026, but I did not receive a confirmation email or case number.

On September 28, I contacted Contributor Support through the Contact Us form. However, the response I received directed me to submit an appeal using the same form, which I had already completed on September 25.

On October 14, I submitted another Contact Us request explaining the situation and mentioning my previous appeal. Unfortunately, I received another automated response with a different case number, but no substantive update regarding my account or the status of my original appeal.

So far, I have not received confirmation that my original appeal was received or any decision regarding my account.

I would appreciate advice from contributors who have experienced a similar situation:

  1. Is it advisable to submit the appeal form again when the original submission did not generate a confirmation email or case number?

  2. Would it be better to wait longer, given that my subsequent Contact Us requests have only received automated responses?

  3. Has anyone experienced a similar situation and eventually received a response or had their account reinstated?

I want to follow the correct procedure and avoid creating unnecessary duplicate cases, but I am also concerned that my original appeal may not have been received.

Thank you for any guidance or insight you can share.

    1. No, it is not advisable. Numerous investigations are in progress (especially as of late), and follow-up appeals can further impede the workload and cause further delays.
    2. Investigations can take weeks or months. If you have a case number, you’ve done everything you can do but wait.
    3. Accounts do get reinstated, provided the terms violations were not so egregious as to cause a permanent ban.

Hi! My portfolio was blocked for a Terms Violation because I had submitted too many assets with only subtle variations, which counts as spamming.

The block happened in March 2026, and I didn’t receive an email confirming receipt of my appeals. I believe they still haven't implemented that feature, so you probably won't get a confirmation either. I submitted two appeals in total, and my account was reinstated after three months. Unfortunately, it's normal to wait weeks or even months while they investigate your case.

I wouldn’t recommend submitting more than one appeal, as I did, since it may have delayed the investigation and prolonged the waiting time.

    Best of luck!
