Question

Adobe Stock contributor account de-activated for the second time.

The story from the beginning is that on the 21st of last month, I requested a payout and had $120 in my balance. On the 25th, I made 220 sales and achieved about $240 on that day alone. Adobe closed my account, and I cannot blame them for this because, before that day, I was achieving 30 to 50 sales per week. So, I contacted Support, and they responded by reopening my account on the 5th of this month and deducted the suspicious balances due to the Irregular Sales problem. These balances were estimated at only $70, so I had $290 in my account (the $120 I had requested + the remaining $170 of the $240 I achieved on the 25th after they deducted $70 due to the Irregular Sales problem). On the 5th, as I mentioned, they reopened my account, and on that day, I achieved 40 sales for about $35. So, the total amount in my account became $325. I requested a payout on the 7th of this month, and today they closed my account again, and I don't know why.

Did they suspect the 40 sales I made on the day my account was reopened? And why? I can't understand this because, as I mentioned before, this was the normal rate of sales for me before my account was closed the first time. This rate continued for four full weeks, and every week there was a day when I made the most sales, while on the rest of the days of the week, I only made 3 or 4 sales. So, I think the 40 sales that happened on the day my account was reopened were very normal.

As long as they did the necessary investigations the first time my account was closed, deducted the suspicious $70, and knew that I was not involved in this problem, and at the same time, the 40 sales I made on the day my account was reopened were not suspicious, why did they close my account today?

What should I do? Should I contact support, or is this a waste of time and what happened to me today will happen again if they decide to reopen my account?

Can I open a new account with a different Gmail account and start over, or will they close it since I use the same internet and IP address?

I know that this forum has nothing to do with Adobe Support and is just a forum for contributors like me, but I want to benefit from your experiences.

I will attach pictures showing my sales rates to prove my words.

This was not the first time I asked for a payout (but it was the biggest). I asked for $35 twice before and got them without any problems.

I have a similar problem. A couple of months ago, they bought $100 worth of videos from me in one day. in general, there was $225 in the account. After I requested a withdrawal, my account was blocked for fraudulent activities, as if I was asking someone to buy in one day. For the first time, they restored my account and wrote that if this happens again, my account will be blocked forever. They also took the money, everything they bought that day.

This month, again bought a video for $75 in one day, I wrote to the support service. answer: "don't worry, if you haven't violated the terms of the contract, then everything will be fine. My account was blocked after a withdrawal request.

I myself do not understand what can be done and why there are such rules. You can limit the buyer to no more than 5 videos in one day from one author. If I were a fraud, I would ask someone to buy 20 videos, clearly not in one day.

I'm very angry now and just want to close my account and never work with them.

Sorry for your loss.

I think it's not hard for a big company like Adobe to track these irregular sales and know who made them so we just have to be patient and wait for their response and I hope justice is served in the end.

Another $11.5 ( 11:22 sales ) I got yesterday and didn't notice because I was sleeping and didn't get an email informing me of them (sold file & tax form formality) because I filled out the tax form, so I really don't know how much consistency in sales they want.

I really don't know if this is a mistake from them or if my computer security is compromised or if it's just bad luck.

Hi @36510890 ,

I'm not sure I'm understanding what is happening here. You said your account is currently suspended. Am I understanding correctly? If I understand correctly are you suggesting that your files are being licensed although it's suspended?

Best wishes

On the same day my account was closed, and before this closure happened, these sales occurred, but I did not notice them because they did not send me the "sold file & tax form formality" email, as I had previously filled out the tax form. I did not notice the change in my balance in my Adobe account because I didn't sign in to it. When I woke up the next day, my account was already closed. The next day, after I wrote this post in this forum, they sent me the Daily Earnings Report email, so I realized that these sales had occurred before my account was closed, so I wrote this reply with this screenshot.

Hi @36510890 ,

I suggest you do not open another account. You need first to identify what you have been doing wrong. Opening another account will not resolve this issue. You'd transfer the error to the new account. Second you should not open multiple accounts with the same file format. Contact adobe about the reason the account is suspended for the second time. Wait patiently for the reply. Follow closely the suggestions they provide you if the account is reopened.

If it's a sales issue you might want to check your computer for security breaches.

Best wishes

Thank you for the advice. I will contact Adobe support and wait for their response. The problem is that they did not provide any suggestions or solutions and I will send a screenshot of the email they sent to me.

You are welcome.

What I understand from the correspondence is that the decision to reactivate your account was based on what you told them plus additional information they gathered, which does not give us anything to work with since we have no knowledge of that communication. If you are not guilty of causing the irregular sales, you should have tried to find out what they found; assuming the current refusal is for the same reason as the previous..

Without punctuation, it's just too hard to read this wall of text...

Jill is correct, proper punctuation helps the readability of your post. I, too, get lost with such texts.
