Adobe Stock Contributor account deactivated for “suspicious activity” – appeal still unresolved

Hello Adobe Stock Community,

My Adobe Stock Contributor account was deactivated on August 28, 2026, for “suspicious activity”.

The notification did not identify the specific activity involved or explain which particular policy had allegedly been violated.

I contacted Contributor Relations and submitted follow-up requests, but so far I have not received a substantive explanation of the reason for the deactivation or a clear update on the review of my appeal.

I also contacted Adobe's DSA Point of Contact to request clarification and information about the available review and dispute-resolution procedures. My latest correspondence has been forwarded to Contributor Relations, but my specific questions remain unanswered.

I understand that Adobe needs to protect its marketplace against fraud and policy violations. I am simply seeking a transparent review of my case and an opportunity to provide any additional information or verification that may be required.

I would appreciate hearing from other contributors who have experienced a similar situation:

  • Has anyone successfully had an account reinstated after being deactivated for “suspicious activity”?

  • How long did the review take?

  • Was there an effective way to obtain a substantive response from Contributor Relations or an Adobe Community Manager?

I would also appreciate any guidance from an Adobe representative on the appropriate process for getting an appeal reviewed.

Thank you for sharing your experiences.

Update – Account reinstated and blocked again within two days

    Hello Adobe Stock Community,

I would like to provide an important update to my original post.

On October 20, 2026, Adobe informed me that my account would be reinstated following a review. Adobe stated that 157.91 credits associated with 17 licenses linked to fraudulent transactions had been deducted from my account and that the account had been unblocked.

However, on October 22, my account was blocked again. The new notification referred generally to a violation of the Contributor Terms or submission guidelines but did not identify the specific content or activity responsible for the new restriction.

Approximately USD 190 in outstanding contributor earnings remain unpaid.

In addition, the Adobe Stock Contributor accounts of my partner and my son have also been deactivated. The accounts belong to different individuals, contain different content, and have their own payment details. They were accessed using the same computer and browser, although I do not know whether this had any bearing on Adobe's decisions.

I have submitted a new appeal to Contributor Relations and contacted Adobe's DSA Point of Contact with an update to my existing complaint.

I understand that Adobe must investigate suspicious activity and protect the marketplace. However, I am struggling to understand why my account was reinstated following a review and then blocked again less than two days later, without a specific explanation.

Could an Adobe representative please clarify whether the renewed block is related to the previous investigation and whether the three accounts are being reviewed individually?

I would also appreciate hearing from contributors who have experienced a similar sequence of reinstatement followed by another block.

    Thank you.

Please use the contact form located at the bottom of the contributor page to get in touch.
This is the only available means of communication.

Once you have submitted an inquiry, it may take anywhere from several weeks to several months to receive a response.
During this time, there is nothing you can do but wait.
Sending multiple follow-up inquiries is counterproductive.

Thank you for sharing your experience and advice.

I understand that responses from Contributor Relations can take a long time and that submitting repeated inquiries may not help.

In my case, I have already submitted two requests to Contributor Relations and received separate case numbers. I also contacted Adobe's DSA Point of Contact regarding the lack of a substantive explanation for my account deactivation and the status of my appeal. The Copyright Team confirmed that my request was forwarded to Contributor Relations, but I have not yet received a substantive response.

Have you, or anyone else in the community, had experience with a similar case where an account was deactivated for “suspicious activity” and the contributor had already contacted Adobe's DSA Point of Contact?

I would particularly appreciate hearing whether anyone has successfully obtained a substantive review or account reinstatement in such circumstances.

    Thank you.
