Advice for a newcomer ?

Plan, prepare & execute.

1. Make lists of things that interest you. 
2. Compare your keywords with current Stock inventory to see what you will be competing with. 
3. Obviously, if Stock already has gazillions of similar inventory like sunrises & sunsets, that’s a theme to avoid.
4. Stock is looking for diversity & unique perspectives. Pictures that tell a story or evoke emotions. Real people in various work & recreational situations. People from various cultures & lifestyles. People interacting with other people.

Start by looking at Adobe’s Creative Cloud:

Look through the photographs of the subject you are shooting. If there are a hundred pages of them, they're going to get rejected. If you're using AI, make sure you take a magnifying glass. That's a joke. Bring it up to 300% to check it out. and inspect every inch of the image, because AI gets everything wrong all the time, and sometimes has to be generated many times. Find a niche and stick to it. Put notifications on for this forum. I have learned so much here. I was new here six months ago.
