I am happy to say that some of my first images went through, hooray! 🙂 But a few of my macro images did not pass the quality assessment? I have added some for an example and would appreciate feedback as to why 🙂

2702 is overexposed. The lightning situation is difficult with that hard light (sun?) coming in.

2879 also looks overexposed, has a very narrow DOF (that may or may not be an issue depending on the moderator) and you have a stain to the left, that you need to edit out.

Hi @Alkira Diamond Photos ,

It's either you are going in too close on your subjects or you need to adjust your F-stop to achieve more depth. Too much of your subject are out of focus. This applies to all your files. The second file also has an exposure problem. It is over exposed.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

DSC_2879.jpg - DOF is too shallow, causing some parts if the flower to be out of focus

DSC_3215.jpg - cropped too close, a bit underexposed and not completely in focus

DSC_2702.jpg - overexposed, and the blurry foreground elements are distracting

DSC_2934.jpg - DOF is too shallow
