Advice on rejection please

Hi all, I posted this twice for inclusion, once with some mild LR adjustments and secondly with no LR adjustments - only a crop. Any ideas why this imagine would fail on technical grounds? Thanks 🙂

Hi @_business ,

There also seem to be blue fringe at the right edge of the tray. Please zoom to 200% to see it more clearly.

Best wishes

In addition to the composition, which feels crowded and too tightly cropped, I believe there is also a white balance issue. The plate and napkin have a blue/gray tone and should actually be white.

There is blue light poured on the scene instead of neutral light.

@_business :

Even if you correct the white balance, there is no chance to get nice and clean colours.

I don't like the framing.  Don't clip your subjects.

Thanks for taking the time to reply Nancy. Just so I understand reasons moving forwards - composition would be a technical failure?
