Hello everyone,

I tried to submit a picture recently of "Mordor" (lotr) from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing in NZ. The picture got denied because apprently it has too much "Similarity with previously submitted images". Yet, when I look into my portfolio there is not a single picture in it, that looks even remotely close to that one. What should I do?

Best regards Chris

There is nothing we can do to dispute the findings of the Moderators. As @daniellei4510 indicated, many of us have decided to stop uploading for now to see if Adobe resolves this issue with arbitrary, unjustified rejections. It's just too time consuming to create, upload, title and keyword new assets and have most of them rejected.

Numerous contributors are having images rejected for being too similar and we don't know why. Some contributors have ceased uploading until the matter has been resolved.

How do I resolve this?

We don't know. It's frustrating. I've had over 40 assets rejected due to being "too similar" over the past couple of weeks, with only three or four acceptances. Adobe has been mum on explaining the change in policy or how to avoid it going forward.
