Question

All submissions turned down for Similar Content. PROOF of this being wrong provided below.

What i dont get is that my recent uploaded content is the only variation on your site. I took a frame from the videos to drag and drop this photo in here with video selected to make sure im not uploading something already done.

I am the only one using coffee in an animation to spell something. There is 1 other that is using coffee beans to spell coffee but they are different since his is a text flip animation and mine is being poured and there is nothing else remotely the same.

So I dont understand where adobe is saying my content is unoriginal. I am providing you proof its wrong.
If you follow my steps it literally youll see i am the original. So what am i supposed to do when you allow people who post generic solid colors but not original animations?

This is in the Contributors Insights. If you look carefully youll see every single one of his submissions are the same color and theme but he is allowed to continue to keep posting the same color without issue?
Also alot of his stuff has crap quality... Did anyone bother to notice when he removed the background he didnt get it all? Looks like poor quality so why is it accepted.. He has 100s with quality issues.

That blue square. Not looking totally original.

You're no doubt being flagged for the keyword/title.

'Coffee' returns over 15 million assets.

Try resubmitting with a less common keyword & title.

Good luck.

I get what youre saying. I appreciate this. But how do i make it so someone finds my stuff if i dont the only that defines what it is? Lets say the coffee thing i uploaded is regarded by all the people on reddit who see it as "amazing" but i submit it under "brown liquid" ill get the wrong audience and no downloads then correct?

Tiktok is the same if you make the best video ever and it goes to tech people when its a philosophy video it will flop hard.

it my work , one of accepted asset have gibberish title and surely will be tag as simillar but its not , after the asset already inside my portfolio, i rename it to appropriate title would be used to describe the image.

I think they are training the AI right now on the submissions we send. can't do much about it, there is no pattern to it. I'm also sure that some rejections are falsely labaled as "Similar content" instead of "Quality issues" or "Editorial" .

I did get some quality issue ones that i agree with their decision on. Those could have been better but Similar content when i am the original artist for the niche is stupid

One or two of my assets were accepted even though one of my assets had identical images, only different file types, jpg and png, and there was one of my assets that was previously rejected, similar, when I uploaded it again, it was suddenly accepted with a different title (just sharing my experience of joining Adobestock for almost two months), and indeed, recently the review process has been taking a long time, there was an asset that had been 30 days and I was going to delete it, and I canceled it, but it was suddenly accepted.

For me my rejections happen within 3-5 days of the upload date. They are very fast for my content but not its fast rejections and i follow the rules so i am confused.

As we have often said, there is an increase in the rejection labeled "similar content". What the new criteria is, is unknown to us. It may be that the metadata is too similar, the images are too similar or just too many in the database. We do not know and it is useless to argue about it. You omnly option is to wait and then, if you like, resubmit.

i read somewhere if you resubmit the same content youre at risk for deletion. Is that true?

You can re-submit at least once. After that, it's bests to move on.

We hear you. But it's something we all are dealing with right now. As for the Insights page, I don't trust it anymore. The examples might possibly be assets from the Fotolia days, when I assume it was easier to get things accepted. Just a guess. In a weird way, I think Adobe's new similar content rejections are putting quantity over quality, as there is no guarantee that assets are being compared to better, more high-quality assets uploaded more recently, but instead to the entire database as a whole containing the types of assets you are referencing.

But that doesnt make sense since i posted an entire account who posts only white styled art. Art that has quality issues and is very clearly multiple variations of the same prompt. Im not sure how that is allowed while my verified original uploads are denied.

i completely would be okay if they said "Content we arent looking for" but i am getting "similar content" when i am the original. Not a single other person in 25 different results for image, and video are even close to my work.

I didn't suggest that it made sense. To date, I've had 290 assets rejected for similar content, lowering my acceptance rate from 99% to 92%. So...get used to it, I guess. Because I don't think it's going to change any time soon.
