I came across an interesting portfolio - https://stock.adobe.com/be_en/contributor/207325322/quicklinestudio?load_type=author&prev_url=detail The author has an outstanding result. It turns out that some people can have only about 230 illustrations in their portfolio and almost all of them are in the top of the search engine in Adobe. Is this normal?

I’d say this has more to do with longevity, marketing and number of sales. The more you sell, the more you come up in search results.

Search results are also influenced by region. Assets from contributors in the same region as you tend to be more relevant. This may be one of the reasons.

Like @Nancy OShea stated. The ranking position has to do with the number of sales. Also, the meta data, how often the assets was viewed, and whether or not it is deemed to be saleable.
