I noticed the deposited amount was low, so I checked and found that $28 had been deducted for the annual fee.

There are far more than I expected—was it always like this?

I expected to pay only withdrawal fees—with no annual fee or a much lower one—but it turns out the fee is quite high.

Adobe Stock doesn’t charge annual fees to Contributors.

Contact your bank about their fee schedule. That’s between you and your bank. Adobe Stock has nothing to do with it.

Is that a charge from Adobe?
Could it be an account fee from a payment platform like Payoneer?

There seems to be a bit of a misunderstanding regarding the post. I looked into it and found that with Payoneer, you have to pay a $30 account maintenance fee if your annual transaction volume is under $2,000. That’s why I was debating whether to switch to PayPal.

You asked if it was always like this. It was not the case years ago. However, the annual fees have been introduce within the last 5 years. If you are living out of the US and have not signed up already, before signing up with PayPal, check to find out if they transfer money to your country.
