Question

Anomalous downloads

Hello

I wanted information on what I should do or write to Adobe. Last night I noticed that 50 files were downloaded, almost all the same, several times, it seems quite strange to me. I should inform Adobe and what do you recommend I write. Thanks

Hi @Alfamax ,

Adobe's business is international. As far as I am concerned, a million of a file can download simultaneously by different people. If you have not violated any of the guidelines and your computer does not have a bug that will activate false or illegal downloads from your account, or any other illicit activity on your account linked to you directly or indirectly, then I don't think there is anything to worry about. Besides, Adobe has developed an AI tool to detect account violation. I believe download issues would be the first that the AI would be trained to detect, and that I believe should be instant.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

Yes you are right, I have been working in microstock for 15 years and I have always carefully followed the guidelines and I am happy with my results, so when I see some anomaly I prefer to report it.

This does seem suspicious. Use the contact us link on your account page to ask Adobe to check the activity to determine whether it comes from genuine buyers.

They were removed, it was probably a mistake, I just got scared because I follow the rules to the millimeter

I'm no expert, but I would contact Adobe. They MAY disable your account temporarily, but given that you brought it to their attention rather than Adobe noticing going forward, they might keep your account open or only close it for a brief time while they investigated. But I'm just guessing how Adobe would handle the situation. Anyone else want to chime in?
