Any thoughts on why this would've been rejected due to quality standards? This is the first time I've uploaded photos and some of mine were accepted and others were rejected. Any feedback on this would be great!

I would suggest looking at the white balance/colour temperature. I think there is a bit too much ‘blue’.

For example:

Add a bit more yellow to make the image warmer to remove the blue cast.

I agree with the others. There seems to be a blue cast and the focus may be an issue. What I also see is a few blown out areas in the clouds highlights. These need to be filled in. 

I love the shot as it is, Intense and Surreal! It’s not possible to judge the focus in this attachment, which I’m questioning.

If you’re open to it DM me, I’d like to take a closer look at it, including the metadata.

If you have the raw file, there’re tools to fix minor issues. 

This is a shot I would die on a hill for!

The bluish cast seems unnatural. 

On close inspection, there’s noise and color aberration. Also white balance is too blue.
