Approval Issue

The attached images were not approved by Adobe Stock. Please provide give me feedback as to why they weren't approved. Thanks!

Before you submit assets, carefully read the Stock Contributor's User Guide.  Pay particular attention to Copyright, Property & Model Releases, Submission Guidelines.

 

Also search Adobe Stock inventory and compare your work with other contributors.  Put yourself in the customer's shoes.  Is your asset as good or better than what's represented?  Would you buy it?  What would you use it for commercially?

 

Anything you submit to stock must be 100% legal for commercial use.  If you don't have copyright or a signed release by the artist/owner who holds copyright, don't submit the image.

    I think for the pavement art, there would need to be two property releases; one from the original book/magazine (whether shown in the photo or not); one from the pavement artist, who would have copyright even on an exact copy.

      You didn't indicate the rejection reason which Adobe communicated to you.

      On the first two, did you submit a model release for the woman? You would also have had an IP issue with the magazine or book that she seems to be copying from.

      CIMG0568.JPG - It's crooked, and watermarks aren't allowed.

      CIMG0568.JPG - watermark needs to be removed

      CIMG0568.JPG - same issue as first two, and the shadows are somewhat underexposed.
