Question

Are birds photos welcomed?

Hi all,

I’m new to the site and I’d like to publish my birdwatching photos. From what I can see, most of the content here consists of graphics rather than photographs. Do you think it’s worthwhile to publish bird photos here? For example, photos like the one attached?

Not true.  Stock contains over 800 million assets from photography, 2D & 3D motion graphics, video, vector graphic drawings, illustrations, paintings, to photo-realistic & fantasy generative AI.

To narrow your search to photos, make use of Stock's on-board search filters.  See screenshot.

Keep in mind that you're competing with over 8 million other bird photos.  Whatever you submit should be as good or better than what Stock is selling now.  Read your Contributor User Guide for more tips.

Good luck.

I agree with everything Ralph said.

You have nothing to loose trying, but you must make brighter and sharpened.

If you have Adobe Photoshop, play in camera raw, you have way more lattitude and options to all kinds of corrections,

and the sharpening and denoising tools in it, are also very good.  And remember, ALWAYS shoot raw, specially if you are planing to sell for stock.

And, if you're really into shooting birds, make it your goal to sell your photos.

Best of luck!

@RALPH_L is correct. Some post-editing is required to help improve your images.

Hello. Yes bird photos are welcome and there is a market for bird photos. I myself, have several hunderd bird photos in my portfolio. You are wrong. The Adobe assets database is not mostly graphics. Again, my portfolio consist of almost 5000 photos.
I looked at your photos and what I see is that they will probably not be accepted for quality reasons. You must post process your photos. 8058 is way to dark and needs some sharpening. 8116 is a little too dark, needs some sharpening, and needs some water smudges removed.
If you want, view my portfolio and enter "bird" as a search term.
