Asset Promotion through Adobe Portfolio (or other website)

This is a little "off topic" but does have to do with asset promotion.

Every now and then, a fellow contributor post the question if it helps to promote their assets through the Adobe Public Stock Portfolio, Adobe Portfolio and/or Adobe stock collections. Each time, our response is that we see no advantage to using collections and that we see no evidence that potential buyers are searching our Adobe Public Stock Portfolio .
I see no reason to promote the public stock portfolio because I have no influence on how the site is presented or what content is offered. I also see no evidence that the public portfolio has been indexed by a search engine.  I am however, changing my mind about using an Adobe Portfolio website. Adobe Portfolio -which comes free with any Adobe Creative Cloud plan- can be used to make up to five individual and unique websites to promote your assets. Asset can be imported though collections, Lightroom Cloud Storage or just uploaded. Upload through collections allows the visitor to purchase the asset through their Adobe subscription.  Assets from collections and Lightroom can only be imported into the default website which is a disadvantage if you are planning linked websites in different languages. As a work around, I upload the assets I want to display in a provided photo grid. Potential buyers can then contact me directly through a website form about purchasing assets.

You can even add <META TAGS for search engine authentication so that your websites are indexed by Google and MS Bing. You also can design and add additional pages.
Take a look. I would like to hear your ideas. To get you started, feel free to view my portfolio.

Nice work, Ralph.

I have long advocated using Adobe Portfolio along with Stock Collections. Every little bit helps.

Google & other SEs will index new sites within a few days or weeks if you ask them to, providing your pages contain plenty of visible keyword-rich content inside the <body> tag.  Owing to keyword-stuffing abuses in the past, Meta Keywords are largely ignored by SEs.  REAL content and a good landing page description are essential.  Often that's the first impression people have of you on Search Results Pages (SRPs).

Hope that helps & good luck.
