Hello.

Today, I received an email from Adobe, stating that a video file I uploaded a few months ago was rejected due to review issues.

File Name : Dramatic tsunami wave flooding narrow European cobblestone street between historic stone buildings with shuttered windows.mp4
------------

I'm using generative AI to upload images and videos, and the video in question shows a tsunami sweeping into a narrow alley. Is this a violation of their terms of service?

It's not a video of people being swept away, but rather of water filling an empty alley...

How can this be considered a violation of their terms of service? I don't understand.

I can't upload the video, but I'll try to upload an image later if necessary.

But first, I'd like to know if these images or videos actually violate the terms and conditions. If anyone has had this experience, please let me know.

Thank you.

Maybe your AI description was confused with actual flooding that occurred in Europe.

Hello.

Thank you to everyone who kindly responded. I was only concerned about the content of the video, and I had no idea the title would violate the terms of service. I will take your feedback into consideration and be more careful in the future.

Thank you.

Bottom line: You still have your account. You didn't do anything that would require Adobe to disable your account. You're good.

My guess is that this is in the same context seen as generative AI war images. It may be also, that the title is incompatible here: you say "European" and "historic". This would point to a real event, and that is a violation of the terms. As we haven't seen the video, we can only speculate.

Just a guess, but "historic stone buildings" and "European" suggests this occurred on a real street with known landmarks.

As it is generative AI, this does not apply.

Just a guess. Without seeing the original video, we can only surmise.
