Automated Bot Accounts: Adjective_noun[random Hex values]

This forum is rife with screen names that look suspiciously like automated bot accounts.  I honestly don’t know if these are real posts or not.

The Generated Pattern: Dynamic_Contributor2ebd follows the classic [Adjective]_[Noun][Random Hex/String] pattern. This is a telltale sign of an account created using an automated random name generator.

I’m seeing fewer automated bot accounts today. Maybe somebody got the memo. We’ll see.

I’m beginning to notice that as well. There were three or more obvious spam posts as well today, which is more than usual.

I also posted this in the Back Room for more in-depth discussion, if anybody sees it there.

How do you get to the back room? Is that a forum?  I’m just curious, what would be the purpose of a spam bot. What does it look like? All I’ve been seeing are deactivated accounts and poorly taken pictures. I’ve also seen many payout problems. Would that be the spam bots?
