Hi Guys,

I am new to this. I got a rejection regarding to my clipart quality. I would like to know what would be the issue for the image quality and what is the standard for illustration?

Many Thanks

Thanks i will keep that in mind. So may i ask if anyone can help if the picture quality is okay to upload? At least my aim is trying to avoid being rejected again.

Many Thanks 🙂

Personally, I think you'd be waisting time that could be better spent learning from rejections and THEN posting them here for input when that happens. We can't hold your hand. Plus, we're not moderators. We are sometimes second guessers when it comes to why this or that image gets rejected. The importants things to remember are:

1. Always view your images at a minimum of 100% (though they should also hold up at 200% within an acceptable degree);

2. An image gets rejected upon the first issue that a moderator sees, an issue we ourselves might very well overlook;

3. We often ask that a contributor submits one or two rejected images here instead of half a dozen or more. That's because the issues we find with those 1 or 2 images will apply to all the other rejected images;

4. If you ask us for our opinion if an image will be rejected before you submit it, there's a good chance we'll find SOMETHING, but not necessarily what the moderator will find

Anyway, other contributors here may disagree with this and suggest that you submit here first for our opinion; but I seriusly believe it will slow down your learning process and cause your portfolio to grow more slowly than you would like it to over time.

Hi @Alvin26579276jxfw ,

To add to what @Abambo said, the margin of the first image is broken at several points.

Best wishes

If you look at your asset at 100%, you will see that you have aliasing:

That happens when you upscape your asset with the wrong algorithms. The colour noise effect that you see also there, and the overall grainy tecture is also a cause of that.

Thanks!! that is helpful. i will take a look deeper. I do have some tweaking after the rejection for my other creation and compare to the last one i submit this is much better at 100%. If you can provide some comment, it will be much appreciate.

You're competing with millions of other bicycles -- photographs as well as vector graphics.

If you want to be successful at Stock, select unique subjects that haven't been submitted millions of times.

Hope that helps.
