Question

Big flaw in the images selection process

I have made a quick test to see if the rejections are based on reality or if is it nonsense, and it is nonsense.

I have submit this picture, which doesn't have any occurence on Adobe, and it had been rejected whith the same fake similarity excuse as the past days.

So either they are having a corrupted process they can't fix or they are switching to an automatic process with no human involved that doesn't work.

House-Fly Images – Browse 38,577 Stock Photos, Vectors, and Video | Adobe Stock

The image of the housefly from Adobe Stock - only difference is colour!

It's similar!! Almost the same!

I would suggest a different subject. (Which these days will be hard to do - there is nothing new under the sun - Ecclesiastes.)

If color isn't a différence, especially when pink flies don't exist, then there's no point of producing pics with white, black, or asian people. We all have a head, 2 arms and 2 legs.

It's true.  We are all the same.

Especially since AI can be used to Customize Stock images to the customer's requirements.

Nobody knows how this tool works to detect similar assets. Seing your asset here, it looks like there is no high emphasis on colour. That's all.

The rejection reasons appears to only effect images. Not photos. I have not had one photo rejected due to "similar" since this whole thing started and most of my photos are in a limited category and could be considered "similar".
We are trying to analyze what Adobe is up to and I dont think we can. Fact is, Adobe is flooded with AI images and are now being more critical od database submissions. We as contributors, must accept it.

Sure we must accept their policies, but everybody meaning us and Adobe, would lose less time if we contributors understood the new do's and don'ts. As long as we don't understand, everybody will lose a lot of time.

Every flying bug is anatomically similar.

They all have a head, thorax, abdomen, legs, eyes and wings.

The color is irrelevant if all the parts are the same.

Just saying...

A fly is a fly, no matter the color, and there are over half a million when I search for "house fly." And that's where the algorithm or AI or whatever is being used seems flawed. It's not taking into consideration particular details. Likewise, a portrait is a portrait, no matter any uniqueness involved, and they get rejected. Usually. But not always. And therein lies the confusion.

но ведь сейчас  у них есть возможность искать по фото, похожие.   На днях у меня отклонили наушники  мокап. Я искала похожий по фото, их нет. Но отклонили по принципу "похожее  изображение уже существует"
