Blocked Adobe Stock Account for Nearly Two Months – Need Advice

I’m posting here in the hope that someone can help me understand what to do next. I’ve been an Adobe Stock contributor for 6 years, and I’m a top seller with a large portfolio of videos, photos, animations, illustrations, and AI-generated content.

My account has been blocked since October 17, 2024—almost two months now. During this time, I’ve made multiple attempts to resolve the issue:

  • Sent around 10 emails.
  • Used the “Contact Us” link 3 times.
  • Filled out the appeal form once.

Despite all this, I’ve received no meaningful updates about my account status or even the reason for the block—just total silence.

I’ve also had several live chats with customer support through the virtual assistant, and each time I was assured that the Contributor Support Team would contact me shortly. However, the only email I’ve received contained no information about my status or a timeline for reactivation.

I’ve reached out via social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), and while I was told that the issue would be resolved shortly, I’ve yet to see any progress.

For nearly two months, I’ve been left without my main source of work and income, with $1,500 stuck in my Adobe account, a declining portfolio, and constant stress—all without any clarity on what’s happening or when this will be resolved.

What else can I do? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I could be wrong, but I don't believe you are the first long-time contributor who has had their account blocked once they started experimenting with AI. And I think it can safely be said that the majority of disabled accounts over the past two years have been the result of infractions related to AI submissions.

I can only agree with this, and it is enough to have one bad egg in the nest to trigger blocking, if that egg is a major violation (not something like one asset passed through moderation but should have been refused for quality issues).

There is nothing that this community can do for you.

Customer service is for customers, not suppliers. As a supplier to Adobe, your siuation is different. However, the blocking screen tells you that you got an e-mail with information, so you should check that e-mail. Also, in general, Adobe contributor support is not very fast with responding to such situations, I suspect, because they have multiple accounts to inspect, and they will do one after the other.

You could check, however, yourself, what could have gone wrong with your asset:IP violation, bad generative AI assets, suspicious sales pattern, violation of the generative AI rules. Those are probably the most common violations that occur.

As I said: there is nothing this community can do for you. You have to wait. There are reports out that accounts got deblocked after some time and the contributors got asked to clean-up the account to remove the incriminating assets. Other accounts got a definitive lock down message.

And customer service is not competent to help you, and Adobe will not discuss your case publicly here.
