I didn’t receive any bonus. During the 12-month period I had about 600 files and 20 downloads. I’m always unlucky.

Does everyone get a bonus or is it like me?

Many AI-generated assets are not trained by Firefly. Only a small number of assets are.
Assets such as ordinary photos and illustrations are more likely to be eligible for bonuses.

I used to think so, too, since I only submit AI. But I did get a $19.01 Firefly bonus this year. $4 and some change my first year as a contributor, which I figured was for something else, but nothing at all last year.

In a 2024 Bloomberg news article, Adobe commented that 5% of Firefly's training data includes AI images.
It is said that more than 40% of the data includes AI images, so it appears that Firefly's training data is limited.

Downloads do not count. The bonus is for using your assets to train Firefly. If you do not qualify (ie your assets were not used for training), you'll get no bonus.
