Bunch of images rejected as "similar" but there are no similar images yet uploaded.

Hi,

I'm kinda sad that I had to wait a month for my images be reviewed and rejected as similar altough there were no similar images yet submitted. I've only submitted videos from same shooting set.

Such as File ID: 648921118, 648921053, 648921070 and many more.

I'll have to wait months to get it reviewed again? Are AI generated images so much more important?

Similar can also mean there are similar images in the database.

Community users don't have access to your file numbers.

AI images are more popular at the moment as everybody wants to get on the bandwagon!

The bottom line is this: none of the contributors here know exactly what the rejection reason "similar" entails. I've had roses accepted, flowers in general accepted, and abstracts and backgrounds/wallpapers accepted (13 of the latter over the last two weeks alone), all subjects which I'm sure are represented thousands upon thousands of times on Adobe Stock. Myself, I think the "similar" rejection is a throw-away. That is, if an asset includes a variety of reasons for an image to be rejected yet nothing specific can be defined, then "similar" it is.

The refusal wording says similar assets in your portfolio, somewhere in the documentation was noted that it may also be used against items abundantly present in the database. I think that this has been withdrawn. In general, as the moderation process is quite opaque, you will never know if the similar refusal is because the moderator got 50 similar submissions from different contributors and refused the 51st, or if the asset has been flagged as similar to other entries in the database. A different reason for getting a “similar” refusal is simply that the moderator may have selected the wrong rejection reason.

Compare your keyword with current Stock Inventory.

Does Stock have 20 million or more of the same assets?

If yes, you need to find something more unique to submit.

the type of images I submitted there are 0 results.

So, what is your point?

I can't guess what you submitted.  The best I can do is surmise based on available information.

"Duplicate Content" usually means it's been done to death by other contributors — like backgrounds & abstracts which Stock stopped accepting.

There are also no similar in the Adobe stock database or on any other stock agency. They only rejected, because they look similar to videos I've uploaded. Well, I don't know if any customer will go buy video for their print use. I guess making photos is waste of time nowadays. And I uploeded photos exlusively only on Adobe... I guess I'll have to rethink this strategy.
