I would have thought this would have been something both companies would expressly forbid in their agreement with us?

Keep in mind that cross listing the same assets comes at the risk of oversaturation and unintended dilution of earnings potential. 

 

As a customer, if I can get the same asset cheaper elsewhere, why would I buy it from Adobe Stock? Likewise, if I see the asset plastered all over the web, I might be less inclined to want it for my own projects.  Rare gems cost more because they're uncommon.

 

On the other hand, cross listing exposes your asset to more potential views.  When more people see it, hopefully more will buy which may offset the lower royalty fees you earn from competing stock agencies.   As always, you must decide which business model works best for you.
