Are variations of an illustration, differentiated only by color changes, permissible for submission to Adobe Stock?

Not recommended. Adobe may consider it spamming. Adobe assumes such alterations can be made by the purchaser.

The help pages specifically state that just changing a background color is NOT a useful variation.

Here are some variations to avoid:

  • Flipped images
  • Different stroke types or sizes
  • Different background colors
  • Added shadows
  • Different image filters
