Can I use any other software other than AI for creating vector designs ?

Hello, 

I am a contributor in Adobe, now uploading photos only. I am interested to create vector images / drawings and upload them. Can I use other software such as Corel Draw for creating vectors ?

You could create in other apps, but you should check the AI file you export by opening it in Illustrator.
