Hello,

Could someone please tell what's wrong with these files? They are photos, taken by me on my iPhone camera, resolution 300 dpi, I think the quality is good..I don't understand. Read the guides but still no idea why the rejection.

Thanks!

Sasha

Probably depends on the moderator your submissions end up in front of.

In the first image, you would have had to attach a property release indicating that you're the creator of the artwork. In the second image, it looks like you've converted the photo to monochrome, which isn't permitted.

Thank you, Jill!

Perhaps a property release for the artwork, yes..As for the photo of the wall, it's unedited at all, I didn't convert it to monochrome. Perhaps as Danielle pointed out, it depends on the moderator who looked at it and rejected the whole bunch of my photos, sigh..

There is definitely some variability between Moderators. This is one reason why I only submit small batches of images - usually no more than 4 or 5.

What is the reason for rejection?

If you are submitting hand-drawn artwork, a property release may be required.

Thank you! Hmm, it could be...I submitted some of my hand drawn art before without adding releases, they were always approved but maybe it depends. Thanks!
