Question

Can the content of the title be the same?

Hi everyone,

I have been uploading some similar content recently, such as Christmas backgrounds, where only the arrangement of items differs. I'm not sure if, in this situation, I can use the same title for each image, or if each image must have its unique title.

Thank you very much!

Yes you can but remember, the title is also used when searching for images so it is wise to mix it up some.

Carefull, submitting similar content by just rearranging items can get you banned.

I'm sure you can, but I try to find at least one thing that makes each image distinctive as far as titles and keywords are concerned. There's usually SOMETHING, even if it's minor. I do a lot of skin care, hair care, fashion, etc., and it can be challenging to come up with unique titles and keywords for each. They aren't my best sellers compared to bowls of chili or cole slaw, but it's what I enjoy doing most.

There's no rule that precludes the use of the same title on multiple images; however, if you're not able to create a unique title for each image, perhaps you should consider whether they're too similar.

Very true. Except that when I sell an asset, I will often go check it out on the stock page where it was displayed. And underneath that, Adobe will include images (usually my own) that are similar to the one purchased, giving the buyer a choice of similar images to choose from. I suspect those similar images are displayed on the basis of similar keywords and/or titles. But yeah...copying and pasting the same titles and keywords just to speed up one's workflow is probably not the best idea. Again, there is usually something, even if it's just one thing,  that distinguishes one image from the other.

I see...yes, it it true, it's always worth spending time on titles and keywords.

Thank you very much!

Have a great day:)
