can we upload brand logo like adobe, YouTube, Facebook to adobe stock & earn money?

I’ve seen some contributors uploading vector or PNG versions of well-known brand logos, such as Adobe, YouTube, Facebook, etc., and listing them as “Editorial Use Only.” These files seem to remain on the platform for a long time.

So I would like to know:

1) Is it officially allowed to upload branded logos if we mark them as Editorial Use Only?

2) Can we earn from such uploads through licensing?

3) Is there any risk of account suspension for uploading brand-related content?

4) What are Adobe Stock’s official guidelines regarding trademarked logos and brand assets?

I want to make sure I follow the rules and avoid any copyright or trademark issues. I’d really appreciate clarification from experienced contributors or moderators.

Thanks in advance!

Editorial use only assets can contain logos and other IP protected properties, but assets like that need to be "news worthy". I do not see that your assets would be news worthy or add any value. They will probably be refused at the moderation level.

Check here for more information on illustrative editorial assets: https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/illustrative-editorial-content.html

In general, I would recommend, that you read the complete documention for Adobe stock. There are quite a lot of information in there that will answer many of your questions.

Yes, it is generally allowed to upload content that includes well-known brand logos if it is marked as "Editorial Use Only" on Adobe Stock.

Adobe Stock has a specific category called "Illustrative Editorial" for this type of content. These assets focus on conceptual imagery that uses real brands and products to convey strong ideas. They are explicitly designated for "Editorial use only" and marked as such.

"Known Image Restrictions": Adobe Stock maintains a list of "Known Image Restrictions" where certain trademarks or properties are specifically prohibited even for editorial use, or require special permission.
