Can We Use Text in AI-Generated Images from Leonardo for Adobe Stock?

Hi everyone!
I’ve been generating some AI images with Leonardo that include text—like posters, banners, etc.—and now I’m unsure about uploading them to Adobe Stock.

The text was added directly within Leonardo using their built-in tools, so I assume the fonts are embedded in the image. But I haven’t been able to find clear info on the licensing of those fonts, and I want to be sure I’m not violating any copyright rules.

Has anyone here uploaded AI-generated images from Leonardo that include text? Do you know if Adobe accepts those, or do you avoid using text in your AI content altogether?

Would really appreciate hearing your experiences or advice. Thanks a lot!

So you can post the assets on a commercial site like Adobe Stock.

You should ask in a Leonardo forum these questions.

Normally we see glibberish text in the assets.

No, I’m not sharing or uploading the fonts themselves, I just get the images with text on them. I guess my main concern is whether the fonts used by Leonardo’s text tool are actually licensed for commercial use in this way.

I also tried reaching out to Leonardo’s support, but I haven’t gotten a clear answer, they don’t provide detailed info on the licensing of the fonts they use, they just reply with prewritten answers. so I’m not sure how to verify that part

Well, if they don't tell you (or you do not understand what they tell you) you are in trouble... Can you use the assets that you generate for commercial uses? If yes, I would not question the fonts they use. They are part of the package, and for sure not embedded.

Adobe's guidelines specifically state: "Don’t: Add text or watermarks." Text limits the saleability of your assets to one language and can be very difficult to remove if the client wants to include a different message. AI also frequently makes mistakes with spelling and word use.

I appreciate your reply, but the text I used is general, like 'Happy Birthday' on a birthday card template. I checked the spelling thoroughly—I'm just worried about the font copyrights

You don't share the fonts, do you? So there is no issue in that regard, if the font can be used in such a way. You will need to check the font license, however.
