Bonjour,

Dans la FAQ à la question que deviennent les photos après 12 mois : possibilité que adobe renouvelle 12 mois. Oui ok...mais apres 24 mois, que deviennent elles ? Sont elles remises en collection payante ou supprimées définitivement ?

Going over the selection of eligible images from my portfolio I an curious about the criteria used to determine eligibility. My best seller is not on the list; but several which have not sold any copies are. I would agree that some of my best images are on the list and some of what I pertsonally would have considered among my best are not. Of course, from previous years, I know that-just being on the eligible list does not guarantee they will necessarily be on the final list of those Adobe selects for the Free list -

Adobe moves in curious ways that are never to predict - at least not for me.

They've stated specifically that they didn't nominate any images which have been licensed more than 4 times in the past year. 95% of my nominated images have been previously sold, with only a handful of "undiscovered" images. I think they're searching to fill the Free image database with assets that meet specific subject matter criteria. About half of my nominated, previously unsold, images are African animals - rhino, giraffe, warthog, hippo, zebra. I wish they had nominated mostly "undiscovered" images - that would make the decision much easier!

The images are not permanently deleted if you opt out of approving them for the "Free" program. They're still yours and remain in your portfolio, available for paid licensing by a Buyer.
