Collections as a promotion tool.

Has anyone noticed increased activity after images have been included in a collection?

As far as I can tell, the only advantage is if a buyer visits my portfolio, and then there are only two collections that can be viewed.

You can create as many collections as you wish.

Rotate them periodically to keep content fresh.

Share content with social media channels like Twitter, FB, Instagram, Behance, etc...

I assume they have minimal impact on sales, but as @Nancy OShea said, I suppose it doesn't hurt to do some self-promotion.
