Fellow contributors I am soliciting your comments on couple of the photos of mine that got rejected.

The insect is quite beautiful, but the unfocused branch directly in front of it is distracting and overexposed and there is chromatic aberration nearby.

None of the photos is completely in focus. As was said, the snake is underexposed.

Snake: is underexposed:

You can't have structure and out of focus areas on the same plane. There is kind of noise in the eyes:

Dragon-fly: Flat histogram 

Artefacts, due to sharpening.

 

I suppose, you did not submit with your watermark.

 

Great pictures btw, unfortunately the technical errors are present.
