Concerns About Rejected Designs and Account Status

Hello, I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to address a concern regarding my account, specifically about the number of rejected designs I’ve had over time.

To provide some context, I’ve been publishing designs for two years, and during this period, I’ve had approximately 596 designs rejected and 2,345 designs accepted. These rejections occurred gradually over time, not all at once. I’ve also sold around 2,000 photos, and many of my designs are performing well in terms of sales.

My main question is: Could the number of rejected designs negatively impact my account, such as leading to closure or other restrictions? Or do rejected designs not affect my account status as long as I continue to have accepted and selling designs?

I’d appreciate any clarification on this matter. Thank you for your time and support!

Best regards,

You are not addressing Adobe employees here.

But, to answer your question you are doing fine. Your rejection rate is about 25% which is OK but,

I hope you are learning from the mistakes and can improve on getting your rejection rate down.

As long as you follow the guidance for uploading assets, there is no issue with your account. I even find that you are doing well, with about 25% rejections.

Assets get closed for violation of the terms and conditions of the contributor agreement, not for a few refusals.

Thank you for your answer. I had my concerns about the rejection rate, but now I feel reassured. I will work hard to improve my designs moving forward.

Check the posts here. There is none getting blocked because of their refusal rate, but for not following the terms and conditions for submitting assets here. The biggest Sinn here is probably submitting generative AI assets that violate one or the other requirement, like spam, like prohibited keywords, like prohibited content. There are also contributors who upload assets that are not theirs. And then you have the contributors with multiple accounts. And last but not least, you have contributors who try to defraud Adobe by buying the own assets.

Thank you for your help and support. I wanted to ask: What is the rejection rate that could potentially be dangerous for an account?

20% isn't a terrible rejection rate, and should cause no long term problems with your account; however you should be striving to learn from those rejections such that your acceptance rate improves over time.

Nobody knows if there is a limit, but anything that is above the 50% figure is good. Experienced contributors have refusal rates of one to two percent for new submissions.
