Confused about intellectual property rejection

Can someone help me understand why my photo has been rejected for intellectual property? The model is me and I attached the permit. The other girl is my partner and I also attached the permit

Do I really have to erase such small people from the background?

Correct answer Abambo

The weird thing is that I added the model realease.

Anyway, I removed the numbers and the tattos and sended the pics again, I'll share the response.

The tattoos were OK, as you see from Adobe's guidance. But yes, it may or may not pass, depending on the severity of the moderators judgement.

If the tattoos did, however, trigger the refusal, you would also have needed a property release from the tattoo artist.

Good luck.

Hi @Jordi3854527210l9 ,

The first 2 images are viewed as private resort. I believe you took in too much of the resort in the framing. Probably if the portraits were larger with the same backdrop, you would not get an intellectual property refusal as most of the property would be covered.

The third photo has tattoos. Tattoos are considered as original works of art and thus are protected under the intellectual property laws when created and inked into the skin, thus requires signed IP document by the artist. You can gather details here about the Adobe IP Guidelines.

Best wishes

Jacquelin

See here the rules for tattoos:

Obviously as the tattoo is not close-up and the main focus, there is no celibrity depicted and there is no trademark represented, so a property release is not needed. You only need a model release, as the tattoos are identifyable and attributable to the person depicted. (https://helpx.adobe.com/stock/contributor/help/property-release.html)

Your pictures are too small for a serious checking, but I would guess, they have been refused for quality issues and the moderator selected the wrong rejection reason.
