Contributor Free Collection

Question

Hey guys, I ask this every year. This is my second year submitting to the Free Stock Collection. I am always so eager to see how many of my vector arts are accepted into the free program. So the nomination for the free collection ended September 12th. Any idea how long before they are reviewed and accepted? Last year it took about a month. Just wondering if anyone has more general information about it.

Also, just curious.. Last year 7 of my vectors were eligible to be nominated. This year, 30 of my vectors are eligible for nomination. Its the same vectors i've had up for years and i havent uploaded anymore in years. How come they weren't eligible last year but they are this year? Does the nomination have anything to do with how long my vectors have been uploaded?

The nomination process is a secret formula, based on some metrics. I do not think that someone is flipping manually through all those pictures, but I suppose that the ones finally getting selected are getting selected to bring in a variety of different assets.

As for the timings, I suppose they will be quite the same. Once admitted, you will get your account credited. There won't be probably further communications, if Adobe does like they did with the photo assets.
